★Foundation of Computer Security:-

Defination:- Foundation of computer security refer to the essential principles, concepts and practices for protecting computer systems, networks and data / information from attacks and unauthorized access.


★Computer Security :-

Defination:- Computer security refers to protecting and securing computers and their related data, network, unauthorized access, misuse, theft and other security issues.


★Need of computer security:


1. Protection of Data:-

-Data is the most valuable asset.

-Personal data, bank details, passwords, exam records must be protected.


2. Prevention of unauthorized Access:-

-Only authorized the system. users should access

-Security ensures login systems, passwords biometric etc.


3. Maintaing Privacy:-

- Personal information should not be shared without permission

-Privacy protection builds user trust.


4. Avoiding Financial loss:-

-Cyber attack can to cause huge financial Losses

-Businesses depend on secure systems.
